RECMARINE sells and maintains boats at Hirara Marina in Miyakojima. Working with boats and the sea every day is why we also run our own charters — and why REC stands for Record.
Of all the seas we have worked on, the one that took hold of us was the sea around Miyakojima.
The clarity of the blue, the way the light falls through the water, the view from the deck of a boat. We wanted to share the feeling we had the first time we saw it. That is the only reason RECMARINE exists.
We sell boats, service them and repair them. We are on the water almost every day, which is how we know what the wind and the swell will allow on any given morning.
So we do not follow a fixed route. We take you to the best water Miyakojima has that day — something only a crew that looks after its own boats can judge.
The moment you laugh underwater. The scale of Irabu Bridge seen from the deck. The colour of the water as the boat moves through it.
We record all of it with drones and underwater cameras and hand it to you as part of the trip — because the day on the water is only half of it. The other half is what you can look back on afterwards.
Come and feel the sea that only exists here — and let us keep the record of it.

Born on Miyakojima. Reads the tide around Yabiji and puts the boat in the best water of the day.
Snorkelling and diving. Happy to stay in the water with anyone who is not a confident swimmer.
Drone and underwater camera. Hands over the day’s footage before you leave.
Portraits and names to follow.
